They has been swimming in our oceans for over 100 million of years ; the y wew here even when dinosaurs walked on Earth. This is an experience that will undoubtedly provide you with unique and unforgettable emotions as you will have the sensation of swimming in a tropical aquarium. After the pick-up at your hotel, you will reach a fishing village a few kilometres away from Mindelo. Once on the beach, you will board a small wooden boat and, after a few minutes, you will arrive at the turtle house (we call it that). In this stretch of sea, you will be able to admire them as they swim freely in their natural environment, and you will be able to dive right next to them. Once back on the beach, after sunbathing and relaxation, you will have lunch in a delicious little restaurant. In the early afternoon, you will return to Mindelo.
Swimming with sea turtles in São Vicente was pure magic! We floated beside graceful turtles in crystal-clear water — like being in a living aquarium.
