The trek begins near the Cultural Center of Mindelo, conveniently accessible by car or taxi, with nearby parking. From this central location, the trail gradually climbs toward the Fateixa valley, following paths that wind through rugged terrain and traditional rural landscapes.

As you ascend, the scenery unfolds in layers: sharp ridges, valleys with lush vegetation, and panoramic views over Mindelo and, in the distance, the uninhabited island of Santa Luzia. The path is moderately challenging, requiring sturdy footwear and a good level of fitness, but the reward is a journey into an unspoiled corner of São Vicente, far from the crowds.

After the picnic, guests are transferred back to Mindelo by private car, with direct drop-off at their hotel, ensuring comfortablr and stress-free end to the adventure.
